The pollutants spreads the light of the street lamp, that's why it makes the light source looked like that.
Today's haze isn't getting any better, 116!! My eyes itch, i've been sneezing, got to close all my windows to inhale less of such harmful pollutants by the fires set off by the Sumatrans who believed it is a way to get fertile land :(

I have seen some news about the pollution caused by the fires in Indonesia but did not realize they are caused deliberately for land clearance. Nice night photograph though.

Thanks for dropping by Réal DP and the lady in the center of the photo is my wife, it made for a better photo!

Thank you, glad that you like it:)

Thanks for your nice comment, I attempted to take night shots once in a while and this was surprising good:)

Thank you, Zsolt:) usually mid or late October will have more rains, i just hope it will be here sooner (though i am a ''sunshine lover'' but more becos of this haze conditions) so that such pollutants suspended in the air will be washed down giving us a better quality air. Even pets are reported sick now on the news.

It is true, smoke from forest fires in Malaysia and Indonesia clouds the region annually as farmers on the islands of Borneo and Sumatra clear land by burning trees and bushes.

There is a treaty whereby countries need to adopt a zero burning policy. Though burning has been outlawed in Indonesia, plantation companies and farmers continue to violate the rules and clear land illegally.

Thank you all, i really appreciate your good comments about my night shot :D
